November 2018 news – Close and far

This month, we welcome the appointment of 2 new directors to the board of Nusteel Structures. Jason Reilly is appointed as Compliance Director with responsibilities covering QA, Health and Safety, Human Resources, CE marking and regulatory compliance. Jason has a wealth of experience from the Trading Standards sector and has been fundamental in setting up our CE marking/material traceability system as well as undertaking duties as our Health and Safety manager.

Ralph Cooke expands his site Installation Manager’s role and is appointed as Operations Director. Since joining us from the Royal Engineers, Ralph has overseen all of our transport and site installation activities.

We have recently finished the installation of the sign gantries on the M1 J23-25a SMART motorway project for Costain Galliford Try Joint Venture.  It has been a pleasure working with the site teams on this scheme and wish them all well for the future.

Closer to home, a couple of bridges were erected 25 miles apart over the M20 in Kent.  The Kingsford Equestrian bridge was installed in Ashford (please see the light green structure below) for Taylor Woodrow Vinci.

The bridge below known locally as Teapot Lane Footbridge was installed in Maidstone for Kier Civil Engineering.
