Passenger Links

In the last 12 years another Nusteel been involved in the supply of Airport Passenger Links.

Initially, following work on a similar project at Dover Harbour, we were contracted to build the internal steelwork for the links at the new Stanstead Airport in Essex. The success of this first project has ensured continuing work and we have now built links for such major airports as Heathrow, Gatwick and even as far a field as Edinburgh. On these products Nusteel fabricates and treats (paints) the internal steelwork which is then clad, at our yard, by another contractor on the project, Nusteel will then deliver and install the finished product.

Covered Walkways

Using the skills learned from building the passenger links combined with the necessity of full cladding bridges over rail lines, we have produced several covered walkways. These have a variety of uses ranging from a simple enclosed bridge, to links for rail stations, eg: Wembley Park, Ashford International, or even as part of shopping centres or businesses such as those produced for Pfizers and News International.
