Quality Assurance
We have, since the inception of the Steel Construction Quality Assurance Scheme, been a registered Quality Assured Company and now are certified to BSEN ISO 9001 2000. We have been certified to undertake design since 1990.
We are committed to the principals of BS EN ISO 9001 2000 and have found that the goals laid out in the standard compliment the high standards required to design, fabricate and finish Highways Agency and Railtrack structures.
Most specifications require us to supply a full documentation package and we have benefited from our structured quality system, allowing easy access to all quality documentation eg: design, drawings, steel certification, Non-destructive Testing and Finishing Reports.
We have found that the strong interdepartmental ties detailed in the quality procedures have enabled all departments to work together smoothly, with the result that changes to the contract specification requested by the client are actioned and transmitted throughout the system. This results in the final product being totally in accordance with the client’s specification.
The quality systems in force here at Nusteel Structures incorporates a specialised time management programme, which we designed, enabling us to quantify material costs and labour times. This allows us to ascertain our potential workload and ultimately any additional costs of any changes made to the original contract specification.
Non-destructive Testing
All work carried out here at Nusteel Structures is, as a minimum, subject to Non-destructive Testing, unless otherwise specified by the client.
