This month’s projects – March 2014

The month started with the installation of 2 No ‘Goal post’ type gantries at Fosse Shopping Park in Leicester.  This was swiftly followed by of the installation of a 13m fully clad LM span and 2 No staircases at Kidbrooke Station in South London.  In Warwickshire we delivered and installed Lock Lane Footbridge (above).  As the name suggested the 24 metre span U-Framed Warren footbridge with 36 metres of Twin Stringer Ramps allows pedestrians to safely cross the lock.

Work also started on the refurbishment of the Port of Dover Berth No 2.  Existing walkway structures, used by pedestrians to board the ferries, have been dismantled by the site team and then transported back to Nusteel where they will be stored pending a full refit.  Works will also include the fabrication of a new end brow and other ancillary items before all items are returned to Dover and installed by our site team later in the year.

On the last day of the month our Managing Director Ivor Roberts and Commercial Director Jason Messenger welcomed 29 Members of the Rotary Club of Ashford when they visited our works for a tour to learn more about Nusteel’s operations.
