8no. 46m mild steel fabricated girders painted with a Fluoropolymer Paint System. All fabrication and painting works complete at our facility in Kent. The multi-million pound scheme which saw the existing “dumbbell” junction replaced with a two-bridge flyover and was constructed on behalf of Kent County Council/Jackson Civil Engineering.
The lifting started in the early hours of Saturday morning – a 750-tonne crane was used to lift the 46 metre-long beams in pairs, each pair weighing 75 tonnes.
